7.25 fluid amount?

How much should i put in. I put in a quart already. Cant find an answer, some are saying 1 quart some 1 1/2.

2 pints is 1 qt

When I filled my 8 3/4 (clean assy no gear oil in the housing or center section) It took 5 pints to get to the drain plug. FSM says 4 for capacity.
