Good morning everyone. Just -7⁰ here. Back is still out so taking the day off to rest and stretch. Even slept in the recliner with heating pad. Guess it helps that the house is down to 62⁰ too. I hate this weather....southwest is calling

Temps to be above normal next week. Going to get up in attic today to rewire shop light. See if I can get it done before I freeze

The advantage of being a remote worker.... I'm slowly migrating southward... my dislike of humidity exceeds my dislike of cold.

I would do OK around Flagstaff or Prescott....

put two lights in last week. Suppose I could wait for warmer weather but I moved my Barracuda and Sweptside to front of shop to work on this light. Now can’t hardly walk into shop and snowblower is trapped till I get things back in place
Keep moving... good luck

Yikes....

Yeah... sometimes you just have to lean into the pitch

I can't stand the humidity either. I think cold is better but the bitter cold is getting old as I am. High elevation southwest would be perfect.

We looked at Flagstaff as a retirement location. We have been there a lot and love it. The biggest problem was cost, the same type of house and property size would cost 5x as much

Yep it is cold here. Jodi howled when I went to town yesterday. She thinks I am a fashion icon. What’s not to like, the warmest hat I own, wool vest over cutoff sleeve flannel shirt over a hoodie? And obligatory cold weather bandana. It begs the question, Farmer chic? Or redneck chic?

On a side note, last ah....what was that day ..ah.... oh hell, the last warm unfozzen day  I found an old lighted flashing light sign still in its old 1977 box with a full set of red and black letters and numbers, like new but used, going to add some fun stuff later, just can't think of what to display on it.
This cold weather put my creative side in to hibernation.

Morning, yep we got no cell service on the place unless you are in the house. We are to far from, well anything! We radio up in the morning, Do a comms check and start our day. I have a tendency to do stupid stuff and I am always alone and it is a good size farm. Radio is the only way to go!

The way I look at it is I can shed some clothes to stay cool, but can't get enough on to keep me warm and my feet, keeping my feet and hands warm is nearly impossible.
