It's a awesome deal.Good deal Dan
Are @ PIR? My mom lives real close..I am on it right now to buy it.
Fortunately, I am racing in Arizona
this weekend!
Maybe read the thread again, you might want to edit your post. What? Nobody on here has jumped on the 340,I'm surprised
Too good to be true but something you need to check out. You never know.Well did not turn out very well.
Engine had been in fact run actually and immediate
got hot probably destroying the rings.
Also spun the cam bearing circulating metal
throughout the engine. Probably ruined the
main and rod bearings at a very minimum.
Engine did not belong to the guy selling it =
He was selling it for a "Friend".
He has another one right next to it identical 340
030 TRW engine except for cast crank,
that also self destructed on the very first start.
All that Glitters in NOT GOLD!
Never know. Missed out on a 727 and converter at 1/2 price of going through a 904 and converter. Missed it by a day or two.Too good to be true but something you need to check out. You never know.
