Does anyone have or know of a schematic to tie the OEM harness to the crate harness, (HOW TO) and wire everything up so they both work together. Pics would be a plus. Getting close to wiring up the car and I just want to be clear on what to look for when running the hot side of things .
TIA

You have the kit from Mopar with the wiring and motor? Doesn't it come with instructions?

I have instructions for the Mopar 6.4 swap kit, I would assume they have something similar for a Redeye kit.

The only thing that was in the crate was a 5 page booklet talking about the cooling side of things and some other small stuff. Nothing really about how to run the power to the distribution block and what is needed with that. I think Im missing some stuff.
Looks like the crate box had been opened before.
I bought it from a dealer in NC. Maybe Ill call them up.

Has anybody tried to grafting a Charger or Challenger engine cradle to an A body car?
Just thinking that may be easier than trying to make a Hellcat motor fit a stock K member

What's hard about bolting a Hellcat to a stock k-frame? Worst case, the AC compressor doesn't fit in the stock location and it needs a remote oil filter (some setups don't though) which seems much easier to fix than trying to graft an LX/LC cradle to the car.

What would you do for springs? Find a way to use the original LCA's and torsion bars or build a mount for the top of the LX/LC shock? What spindles would you use? The LX/LC spindle will require the LX/LC UCA which means a mount for that too. Seems like I have seen someone doing something like that recently, but I can't imagine it would be easy.

If a stock k-frame has problems for you, there are plenty of aftermarket coil over kits that would probably solve your problems and be a bolt in rather than a huge science project the LX/LC cradle would be.

Personally, I really like my '73+ swap parts from Holley. Maybe having to source the later k-frame is the problem though.

Yes, I have seen the HDK or AlterKation front end kits that look really nice. Quite pricey but it does upgrade a lot of things. Have you done the swap on a 73+ A body?

Motor is sitting in the car and waiting on the crossmember steel to show up. So still working on it.

Finally get to pretend I am one of the cool kids - Holley kit swap

If you look waaaaaay back in this Gen 3 Hemi Swap forum, you should be able to find the thread I started about putting a 5.7 Hemi into my 70 Duster. There are lots of pics in there on how I put the 5.7 car motor into my Duster with a 73 up spool mount V8 K frame. I bought TTI mounts and headers. TTI told me right up front that my AC compressor would interfere with the motor mount on the drivers side. I cut the spool mount saddle off the drivers side of the k frame, cut the TTI mount apart and moved everything back until I had good clearance on the AC compressor. It all worked out well, but I never finished it and sold all the Gen 3 stuff to a gentleman in Virginia. Good luck with your project.
