So the Barracuda fastback I'm fixing up is a factory XX1 Satin Beige with an H6V interior that was repainted Burgundy Metallic.

I was noodling with the idea of repainting it original color but it would be a royal pain to do it.

I'm interested in seeing what that color looks like but I've only found one bad photo of a notchback.

Any FABO members have one?

I painted the engine compartment on my 68 Cuda to the factory gold using paint from this company.
Just tell them your Mopar paint number and he will mix it up in cans or quarts. And it is DEAD ON.

I've never seen this colour either on a barracuda, but I remember a Valiant four door wearing it. Definitely stealth. Except for the red interior. Interesting choice is all I will say

Here are some pics of my XX1 H6R 68 Barracuda for reference.
I have never seen another with this color combination and I think the interior/exterior colors go together quite well.

Wow! Perfect! That car is REALLY nice. I like that color combo.

That's exactly what mine was like out of the factory except seats and door panels were white.

Right now I'm leaning towards your interior with Maroon Seats.

Did you have to recover the seats or paint the interior? I'm currently researching paint colors for the interior repaint. Dash Paint, plastic and upper doors all look different to me.

Beige car with white seats yuck. Def should go with the red interior. My 69 dart came beige with light green interior.

That car has a cool story

FishyPete said the car has a cool story. Can you tell it?

<shrug> I have an ivory dart with white seats and it's the best looking interior I've ever seen in any early Dart.

It's the maroon and white that isn't doing it for me.

My 68 Formula S was XX1 originally, sorry no pictures, with a black deluxe interior. It is now Mist Green Poly, FF1, with a black and white deluxe interior.

The car is a true all original unrestored survivor. It has 8 miles on the odometer. Still in original dealership name, never registered or licensed.
WOW!

Can you confirm that the color on the upper door panels and on the A pillar plastic is a different red than the dash pad and dash metal?

All of those pieces are going to have different hues regardless of all being used in maroon interior. Dash paint is different finish than door paint and plastic is only so close, but it's all burgundy/maroon. I may have more pics.
