Having a shake in the car, took trans and converter out to check them. I want to start the engine and run it without trans to make sure the shake isn't in engine. I need an external balanced flywheel, It's for a 1976 360. I don't care if it's rusty or even cracked as long as the balance is right.

They are extremely rare. 70-74 only. As far as I know (may be wrong) E bodies only. Chances are you may have to go new. The other possibility is getting 318 340 flywheel re balanced for 360.

Flywheel from Brewers..

New OEM replacement flywheel to fit the LA based 360 cast crank engines used from 1971 through 1992. These do NOT work with the Magnum or crate engines.
-6 bolt crank flange
-130 tooth ring gear
-11.625” pressure plate bolt pattern for use with 10.5”-10.9” clutches
-Includes #BP912 flywheel bolt package.
Original Dodge & Plymouth applications include:
D100 D150 trucks Dart Duster Demon Barracuda Challenger etc. 1971 1972 1973 1974 1975 1975 1976 1977 1978 1979 1980 1981 1982 1983 1984 1985 1986 1987 1988 1989 1990 1991 1992

He needs a flexplate.

Looks like an auto car.

Depending on 360 model year, 1976 should use a B&M 10236 IIRC

He wants a flex plate so he can start the car without the torque converter or auto trans attached

Pays to read the whole thing. LOL Glanced and didn't grasp that sniglet!

If he has a weighted flexplate, stack the flexplate then a std flywheel on the engine to get it started. Check for interference between the two.

Thanks all, I figured it wouldn't be common but wanted to try. I certainly don't want to buy a new one just for this test. I was hoping someone had an old one laying around.

This is what I use on my run stand. I have an internal balanced flywheel, but I add this plate when running an external balance motor. I only really mess with small block Mopars.
