[WANTED] 904 part throttle kick down valve body...

looking for a part throttle kickdown valve body for a 904 trans.

I have a bunch of 904 transmissions standing up . Most are 71's , I think there is 8 of them . I am an hour north. You can come pull some pans and look. Take a whole trans for $75. You can take them all in a bundle deal. They are all on pallets and I can get them out with a fork lift if you call in advance.

its specific years i think.. not sure what year mine is.. its the smaller rear seal so pre 73 i believe.

The kit works on earlier transmissions as an add on to your existing valve body similar to the factory kit for certain years. Ill see if I can find it.

The year is cast into the valve body top and bottom on my 76

the trans and valve body ste in a running driving car. i really don't want to pull the pan until i have something to go back in it.

Put the serial number up and I'll check it if you want. That'll work unless the VB has been swapped

I'll jack it up this weekend. hopefully the valve body is original to the trans but who knows what has been done over the years.

it says 66-69 transmission. not sure what year mine is. maybe I'll call them.

The transmission should have numbers stamped on a flat above the oil pan. You can tell the year from that number without pulling the pan. I'd also get a 4.0 kickdown lever, adjust the bands, and pressure while you are in there.

Get the stamped numbers off the pan rail and we can tell you what year it is.

so the A&A kit will fit that one. their site says fits 66-69.

just dug out a few valve bodies i have laying around.. gotta start a new thread to figure all this out..lol
