1972 Dodge Colt

Just asking but what about removing the bed for that job? I know a lot of trucks it's easier to do that way.

That was discussed, but I can't do that by myself.
If Dodge had put a panel in the bed, it would have been a simple ob.
But there is a crossmember right above the module.
Glad that is behind me.

A cross member? I bet that beeotch is riveted in too. That'd be about right.

Worked on the shifter and clutch today.
I "Think" I have something that will work.
I posted this video today as well showing the clutch tamer operation in my car.

Nice job with that clutch tamer. Are you planning to use the clutch on 2-3-4?

My old 95 3500 Ram Cummins (before that really big pine killed it) the fuel gauge was MIA for years, I just filled up every 300 mi. and stretched my legs!!

This is the last one I will change.
I just saw a 2001 2500 like mine on bring a trailer today for 25K.
He had 80K miles, mine has 146K.

Getting ready to tow tomorrow.
I was looking at my tow coupler and, WOW, the lock washer was just barey locking!
So glad I look at that, gave it a few turns and then put some witness marks on it.

Then I put this on my seat belt.
This harness is stiff for some reason and I needed a little leverage to pop it open.
I think it should say remove after FRIGHT!

Long trip but it was good, more data.
Craig @383Duster was there helping me!
Thanks Craig.

Made 2 runs, carb issue on first run, went a 13.29 at 107.7.
It was the fastest I have driven the Colt and it was real good and stable.
Second run I missed 3rd gear so that was that.
Here is the clipped video:

I had to leave early to run up to Miami to pick up some Dart Lite parts.
Got what I needed.
