I am starting to look and see what I am going to need for exhaust and just about everything else. Keeping in mind that I will not have to deal with torsion bars, can I use a set of Hellcat manifolds instead of going for aftermarket headers? I figure that because they are stock on Hellcats they should be able to handle the power I will be producing and it's not like anybody can see them in an A body anyway.

The SRT 6.1 Jeep manifold is it's own deal. They are NOT the same as car 6.2/6.4. Durango 5.7 manifolds do fit, they have a larger outlet than the Grand Cherokee's. Both are the log style manifold, probably not good for the supercharger. With no torsion bars, the 6.1 Jeep manifold would probably work. They do hug the block more than the 6.2/6.4 car stuff. Those poke straight out the head and want to clash into the framerails.

That is the kind of information that is very valuable. You don't happen to still have those 6.1 manifolds you were trying?

I don't have any experience with stock manifolds, only TTIs. However, I seem to remember seeing someone trying the SRT manifolds and I think it may interfere with the driver side starter. I'm not 100% on that, but they were designed for a passenger starter setup.

I do still have them. As per racerjoe's comment, I have some long blocks i can do some test fitting to check interference with driver's side starter situation.

Drivers side starter issue can be resolved with using a 2005 Ram 5.7 manual starter. It tucks up tight against the block. I know on the 6.1 there is a nub to grind down on the block so the starter fits tight

I read that you need a jeep and a ram manifold to run manifolds in an A body. I can't recall which is which right now. I recall one manifold is a ram 2014(or matching part# for that model). I Originally thought I could maybe use SRT manifolds but no go.

The left side truck/suv manifold are the same. The right sides are different. The right side truck won't work. Points directly into the firewall.

I'm just spit balling here. What if used the 6.2/6.4 manifolds and cut the flanges off and re-welded them at an angle that brought them in closer to the block. I know that would change the angle of the out let but I think that can be adjusted as well. Just a thought.

Can i ask why? Unless free they still half the cost of purpose built ones without all the additional headaches?

Is this the best starter to use on a 6.4 swap? I am still trying to figure out what starter to use on my 6.4 with a 904

I dont think there is much of a difference between the 6.1 and 6.4 casting in that area so it is definitely the cheapest option. Jim has some good pics on his build of its fitment
