There was a thread somewhere on here about options. Not great for spot fixes, maybe if you were doing an entire item?I have been wondering about the chrome paint.

I like your re-focusing lines when everyone on a thread is yammering w/o helping out the OP, take a long hike off a short pier, that gets the point across : )It was some good entertainment.
Lots of stories to tell Chris, mostly with the 59 Vette. I did the bodywork and paint on it when I was a teen and it's been in the garage ever since. Also stories about the 30 Ford A convertible he has.
You mean the threads with 146 replies and the OP never had another post after asking the question?I like your re-focusing lines when everyone on a thread is yammering w/o helping out the OP, take a long hike off a short pier, that gets the point across : )

"I'll never own another 4 speed car" Because you broke a pressure plate bolt?Well, we ALL do stupid stuff. The trick is owning it. He had no intention. That's what makes him a dumbass. He's not gonna learn from it. May he continue his way forward through broken car parts.

Lucky me he didn't have a lot of friends and family.Just don't let the local vultures move in. A lady down the road from me lost her husband and the local guys knowing what he had landed. SHe practally gave things away and then they bragged about how little they paid. Upset me.
Have I got a pushbutton for you!!!!"I'll never own another 4 speed car" Because you broke a pressure plate bolt?![]()

That's one of the options I'm currently considering for my latest jukebox resto. I know absolutely nothing about it, but I assume that since the juke would be kept inside the finish wouldn't have to be as "tough".I have been wondering about the chrome paint.
You won't believe who will step up. Guys who didn't even know him just heard about itLucky me he didn't have a lot of friends and family.
Probably pot metal too I bet. That's one of the options I'm currently considering for my latest jukebox resto. I know absolutely nothing about it, but I assume that since the juke would be kept inside the finish wouldn't have to be as "tough".
I'm down to two now. Or rather, two working ones.
And I have enough parts in the shop in the basement to build at least two more 1448's like this one (picture swiped off the interwebs):

My motorcycle buddy had some things powder coated chrome and to save money painted some things with Rustoleum chrome and the paint looked more like chromeThat's one of the options I'm currently considering for my latest jukebox resto.
