Home track switching to NHRA

My home track, Xtreme Raceway Park, south of Dallas, has just announced that they are switching to NHRA sanctioning body. The problem is the season started down here 2 weeks ago.
They have the 2nd bracket series race coming up next Fri/Sat. They are having a driver's meeting Friday to inform us of any changes. This took me and my friends completely by surprise and we don't know what to expect.
They have been IHRA since they opened and are IMO the best 8th mile track in the southwest.

Same owners and operators. They are just switching sanctioning body for some reason, after we have already signed up AND paid for Summit Super Series for this season.

Well, the good news if you want to practice for the bracket finals, you can go to Ennis to run the 1/4 mile.

Bracket races at Ennis are 8th mile. At least it was last week when I raced there. Ennis and Xtreme are both good tracks.

I am a non-fan of nhra. If there was an IHRA track nearby, nhra would never see me again.

Edit. I believe the 330ft track in Paris (ca) is IHRA, I just haven't been there yet. But I will. I believe it is no-prep, but I have a four link big tire car.
