I am not sure Zack, I do know they used them to get there gas cold and it works real well, It has a coiled line inside gas flows though and gets it Very cold, Fill it with ice or dry ice and it gets more gas in the cylinder, I used one 8 to 1o years ago on a 70 barracuda 318 and gave me 4 to 5 tenths 8) There is always ice at the track :-D

Looking Good MeMike !
Thank you jomoper :happy10: I am happy with my direction so far :happy10:
A little at a time and it will be dun one day under the hood.
Then to the body

The gas chiller tank is cool.
I have a 6 cylinder turbo car with an intercooler, its air to air, and it serves the same purpose by cooling the air. There are larger ones, and also liquid cooled ones that use either dry ice or antifreeze.

Question: the airbox seems to defeat the purpose of the larger carb and gas chiller, if you are going to chill the gas wouldn't you want to move more air?
It looks like you have room to put an open element air cleaner on, maybe even on the other side of the radiator support. I actually mounted my air cleaner below the headlight behind the bumper- and what a difference!

Nice job, nothing beats doing it yourself- and doing it different.

The breather is out of a 4.0 Jeep and will hold a K&N filter and the carb is just a 390 cfm, I just set the gas cooler in there today for kicks and see if it got in the way of anything
I will get outside air, and it is a daily driver.
It get hot under the hood, I will inclose the passage way
Thank you for your input matthon  This is a stock 170 low deck.
