    Radiator recommendations for 360 Duster?

I purchased an OER brand for my dart. It is aluminum but it has a stamped top tank versus the fabricated style you see alot. You could paint it black if you wanted the stock look. The come in either Auto or Manual and have the stock mounting. May be worth the look. 1973 Plymouth Duster Parts |...

Small bolt front disc options for a 65 Valiant ?

I used the Wilwood wheel kit with the Right Stuff master kit. Fantastic change from the old drums. The Wilwood rotors shipped with 1/2 inch on 4.5 inch BC installed and the 7/16 inch studs in a bag which you install in the 4 inch BC. No issues with the factory rallye rims with the hub or rim...

Plate with battery leads connected to it?

I would be concerned that something labelled positive and mounted to a metal surface which is grounded. Looks like a homemade junction point.

    wilwood master cylinder question

Not a Wilwood solution but another option is the Right Stuff 15/16" master cylinder kit. Kit comes with MC, adjustable rod and proportioning valve at a fair price. More of a factory look than Wilwood however. Upgraded last year from drums up front to disc with this kit and the pedal feel is a...

    pdb to mdb

I just upgraded to disc from drums using a 15/16 bore master. The pedal feel is roughly the same as before but much better stopping. Most power brake masters are a larger bore which makes the pedal feel harder. Not sure of your bore but something to consider.

Full Suspension upgrade of 67 Dart

Looking through your thread and noticed the QA1 stuff. I have just installed their control arms and strut rods on my 70 Dart. One strange thing happened with the camber bolts from QA1. I had just put the car on the ground and made my first adjustment to the camber bolts and the bolt actually cut...

    SSBC Flex Lines

70 Dart upgrading to SSBC w513 wheel kit. Part of the upgrade includes new banjo style flex lines. The problem is the lines themselves do not have the flat spot that is needed to insert into the frame mounted tab where it meets the hard line. I have called and emailed SSBC but still no answer...

Power to manual. 66 brake rod for 71 swinger?

Not sure what you are asking. The single reservoir can't be used on your car so I am wondering if you just want the rod? Removing it could damage the retaining rubber/nylon washer. Why not source an adjustable rod so there is no issue of fit? The current MC used on power brakes is likely sized...

pedal is soft at the bottom

You mention no work was done to the brake line side of things. My guess is your car was four wheel drum and now drum/disc. The master has to change. You also need to add a proportioning valve to the rear line so you get enough line pressure to the front for the discs to work well. After...

1970 swinger wiper switch and speedo

Not sure if you wanted the rallye cluster or not but here is the standard rectangular style info. Just happening to be repairing my cluster and had the speedometer out. I would test yours with a cordless drill driving the speedo cable input since they have to move a fair bit to show mileage...

HELP! Any way to remove a scuff from decal

Trying to remove a scuff from the vinyl will change its gloss. Even if it is a glossy type the polishing will change it. For a flat no gloss vinyl there is nothing that wont leave behind a change. My bet is you start with a small scuff and end up with a larger more noticeable area.

'71 Swinger! Like it or Not

I like it. From a purist point of view maybe not but even they will have original colors they do not like. Still I am not a fan of the scoop sticking through the hood. As far as the stripe goes you see more without the wrap around look. I have attached a 1970 brochure pic that shows it stopping...

    Rims and tires

My car is all stock 70 Swinger. There is roughly 3/4 inches from the tire to the factory inside wheel lip with molding.

    Rims and tires

I have 245/60/r14 on standard 14X7 Rally rims, not sure of backspace measurement. They fit no problem, the speedo is off a few mph but not too bad. You need to find out the diameter of current size tires and compare to new size. I looked up standard G78/14 which compare to 225/70/14 that have a...
