That's Buds Auto Parts.
He has quite a bit of trim & glass but almost all the sheet metal is no good. Anyway his prices are usually alot higher than Ebay or swap meets.
I only go to him when I can't find it anywhere else. Call Texas Acres to compare pricing. They seem to have quite a bit...
Thank God I decided to go with Monte, Paddock & YO over this bozo when I bought many of the parts for the Dart & Chally.
I don't know what I would have done if I did buy stuff from him & got the ol' screwjob. I guess I would talk to the credit card company & see if they can persuade him to...
Get the Mopar Performance porting template kit. This way you won't get into the water jackets as easily.

Also get some carbide cutting bits for rough cutting & stones to polish afterward...
Pull the valve covers & watch the rocker arms when running to see if they are fully opening the valves.
Did you check the timing chain marks? This probably isn't the problem though since you said it runs fine when cold.
When you install the intake make sure you put a little silicone...
I had a TCI for about a yr & broke. Just spend the $450 & get a decent converter that wil last 10 yrs. I've got a Turbo Action 3000 stall now & love it.
I know excatly what you're talking about. The day we were bought by Siemens, 20 consultants showed up & told us what we were doing wrong & how to do it better. Well we ended up losing more money in the 50 yr history of the company soon after they bought us.
They sold us last yr & now we are...

I disagree. You learned quite a bit on how to repair things that will break sometime down the road that would cost quite a bit if you took it to them (body shop, engine shop, etc).
Also, you can now tell people you did most of the work yourself & have pride in owning it. I can't believe...
You aren't that far from me (Grand Rapids). I haven't been able to do much work on the Dart or even drive it this year due to my crappy house falling apart. My wife has a 70 Challenger R/T that needs a total resto.
Welcome & you can email me at [email protected]
Dave
Also, I can't believe someone actually popped your hood when you were home.
It's sounds like a grenade going off when I pop my hood.
I plan on putting a security light on my garage facing the Dart tonight after reading this.
Again I need help with how to install an inside hood release...
I was planning on putting a hood release on the inside of my 69 Dart (due to potential theft of MSD, carb, etc - not vandalism), but not sure how to do it.
Can I buy a kit from Autozone or do I need one out of a later model Dart?
