Lets assume they are both in good running condition and at this time I just wanted to throw on a intake and carb and MAYBE a cam upgrade. I will use the headers on my 273. Is there any benifit of one over the other?

Trying to figure this Mopar stuff out, I have a nice 65 Valiant Signet that I want to put a 360 in. What would be the benefits of a LA block vrs a Magnum block if they are both roller blocks. I have access to a good 91 complete motor and a 96.

Ok, I got it, and all of you were correct. Once i looked at a photo of a balancer without a pulley on it, I was able to see it. Apparently mine was installed with the paint wet, which helped it stick, a pry bar and a smack of the rubber hammer and off it came. Thanks for the help and patience.

The balancer bolt is out, this is something pressed in, i haven't had any luck finding anything online that looks like it.

looking at photos that is what I am determining, I guess I am going on the hunt for the early brackets and pump, and will hold on to this other stuff I have for when I swap in a 360 some day.

Do you still have these brackets, trying to put a Saginaw pump on a 65 273.
