So far it hasn't made any difference. I may pull the carb off and give it a bath and see if that helps. Also about to start checking vacuum lines. I didn't have time on my last weekend off
yeah, Im going to check all the vacuum lines this weekend since i'll finally be off work. Im not sure its carb related, it cranks and accelerates good, as long as its in neutral or park it idles good. Could still be a carb issue?
Here's what I got going on. My Duster has been setting for awhile, I kept it cranked but haven't driven it. Well my daily driver decided it didn't want to run anymore so Im having to drive it daily back and forth to work. Problem Im having is no matter how long it sets and warms up, 2 minutes or...
What kind, type of ignition should I use with this setup that would be the best. I am going to build up the 360, with the information that I have gotten from this. I am going to need alot of help as I get ready to put this thing together, Im going to put it on the engine stand this week
It does run but it smokes so I am going to have to rebuild it. Budget is always controlled by time, so if it takes a little longer to get the things I need, thats fine with me. thanks
I am getting ready to slowly start building a different engine for my Duster. It currently has a 318 from I think around an early 80's chrysler with "fast burn"heads. I also have a new .480 lift cam in it with an edelbrock intake and carter 600cfm comp series carb.
What I have setting around...
Got a friend that works at a manufacturing company here in town that makes boat dashboards and components. They had some left overs and he brought me some
After much work, a few beers, and some time we have created a bushing for it from an old wheel barrow tire. Its not quite as tight as a new one would be (at least I dont think so) but it seems to be working.
Thanks for the help everyone

I have assumed this was the factory transmission in this truck the whole time, but it is 33 years old, it coulda been changed over the years, everything else was still original so I just figured it was too
Im going to see what numbers I can find because mine is not a top loader, mine has linkage down the driver side similar to a mopar 833. what numbers would let me know what were dealing with?
