Does anyone know where the date code is on a center chunk? an would it be a 3 or 4 or 5 digit code? I need one for late oct. or very early nov. of 69. I have found one that the guy who has it said it has a 119 on it, would that mean nov. of 69, or would it be jan. 69 ?

You will have to weld the panel at the lap joints, you can glue the pinch weld areas with no problems. What happens when gluing lap joints is the line will become visable over time no matter how much filler is used to cover your lap joint it will become visable, we ran into this at the shop...
The original trunk floor did`nt look to bad in the before photo ? not the case once you started poking around on it I guess?
How did the repro trunk floor fit? I have heard they are a little short from front to rear an you need to stretch them a bit did you find this also?
