G'day mate. Great looking ( I mean great looking) rims. I thought the usual SS rims looked good; those are beautiful. Yeah, they will give your car a wicked new (but period correct) look. I for one would like to see your car when you get them installed.
Cheers Paul
That's the year I would like to have as well. Along with a stude (even a six cylinder Lark) plus a Honda 300 Dream. Best get the Dart on the road first (seeings how it has been 20 years off the road).
Sorry, got carried away with my wishing/dreaming.
Cheers Paul
Welcome aboard....(from the east coast of Canada). Post some pictures of your '73 for all to see. This site is just chock full of great people and great help/advice. You will find it invaluable during your resto.
Hey all. I want to run 60 series tires on the rear of my '68 Dart and wanted to go with an appropriate wider than stock wheel to fit. What I was told was to look for wheel that is 5.5" in width. Can anyone confirm this is a good choice/fit and are there 2 out there somewhere?
Please, these...
Would have liked to run them on my '68 Dart. Bought the wheels and tires for $650.00 and was "assured" by buddy they would fit my Dart. As I got them late spring, just put them away until very recently. Found they don't fit my small bolt pattern. Phoned buddy up to buy them back and guess...
Welcome aboard! From New Brunswick. This IS a terrific site. Lots of great people and a ton and a half of priceless information that these people gladly share for the love of the hobby. BTW, great looking Mopars.
Cheers, Paul
Wow, how fast can you paint a car eh! And take a picture exactly the same spot each time you change the color. Is that all base clear?
Goes to prove some of us Cunuks had too long a winter and got our small brains frozen a couple of times.
Cheers
Great looking truck. Actually my favourite year. You seem to have done to your manifold what I had done to my slant six manifold. Great idea for duals. Keep up the good work.
Cheers Paul
Thanks guys for all the great info. Looks like I'll be digesting it for a while. Maybe anyone out there can advise which grind they are running and the set-up (carb and exhaust) they have. Where do you find the power coming on from ___000rpm to ___000rpm.
I had advised Erson of my wanting...
Anyone out there (here in Canada) find a "great" price for a 390cfm four barrel carburetor? I would like to get one for the slant six Dart...soon. They are like $500.00 new around here on the East Coast.
Any one but me have a hard time getting any information from Erson camshafts (site)? I have e-mailed them a couple of times. Seems they don't need my business. Maybe someone can suggest another camshaft maker that I can contact. I'll soon (I hope) be ready to put the slant six together.
Any chance you can post a picture of what you are referring to? I'm sure it would be worth a thousand words. If you can get it up on say car ramps and take a picture of the wheel from an angle from the front. The alternative would be to jack it up on the front end (both sides) set jack stands...
Hi all from New Brunswick (and the rest of Canada). Might as well say hello to those in the United States. Oh heck, the rest of the world. All you Mopar guys and gals.
I hadn't heard of that salvage yard across from Woodstock. Interesting. Maybe someone will take a trip and take a camera...
