Rebuilt Carter AVS or new Edelbrock Thunder AVS

your avs with 630 cfm was put aside and the thermoquad with the spread bore was put in place as it was approx 800cfm. The idea was taken from G.M Rochester as when the secondary choke plate was added, more fuel flow was allowed without bogging. I have never run anything under 750 cfm with a 340

by the way rumblefish, when you buy these kits as apposed to buying a rebuild, how do you re-bush the throttle plate bores?

It use to have a pink 70 Duster up there but I guess as time went on they realized it was worth something. Thinkin the 73 may come down soon and be replaced by a pink Newport. There...

    1973 Dart Sport

I have had black paint on my red armrests, headliner, dash pad and door panels over top of red paint for about six years now. No fading, scratching or peeling. Still looks like new. The trick is to use vinyl paint. I used it out of a rattle can and it is incredible how it turned out. Maybe...

    hard clunk in reverse??

ah.........the 727. Your pump seal is gone. When car sits overnite, the fluid drains out of pump. It will last forever like this..but I would always cold start car in neutral to make it last a little longer.

    Dual vice Single Pl

for a street machine I have found a dual plane works much better. Most single planes dont make torque until insane revs. The cast iron spread bore intake is very underated. It works very well on small blocks. If you want fuel economy with this intake...please dont laugh...but a Chebby Rochester...
