yes you can have lower comp and see gain you have to advance timing as far as possible but like i said if its low compression go turbo or...
i had some in a beetle a couple years ago.the biggest thing i remember is on long drives they thrashed my back. i say find some one local who has a set and go cruising make sure you like em before dropping $$$$

ok so my 1964 dart is my daily driver for now and the wiper motor finally gave up and the plastic gear broke.... so i need to rebuild or retrofit one.... so anyone know if there is a differant motor that will work or another wiper motor i can rob the gear out of?
