What do I need and what do I don’t!

Use these copies for color codes and locations at the firewall connector. They are from a 75 Swinger's factory manual. If you can locate wiring harnesses out of 73 to 76 "A" bodies . Be sure to check cracks and splices and clean every connector. Splice with SAME colors. Good luck

What do I need and what do I don’t!

You will need a factory manual that has the complete wiring harnesses. The "Seatbelt interlock system" Has 17 wires that I removed to start with. Remove the AMP meter wires from the meter and secure them together. This will eliminate the major fire starter. I will forward a copy of color codes...

    Shake rattle and roll

If you are using an in-line fuel pressure gauge, fluctuations is normal, for elect pumps external from the tank. At least that was what I was seeing when I had one in-line. However, the engine ran like it should have. I took mine out and have not had a issue since. 5 years +.

    Modern electronics = Full rewire

Here are a couple of diagrams I put together when I was building my 75 Swinger. Had to find a way to keep from blowing my brains out trying to interpret the manual. FYI: the factory used the same color codes until 1976 for Plymouth and Dodges. They just added more colors as the added more STUFF...

    Shake rattle and roll

Had 1999 Dakota R/T . After two motors w/cam, headers complete rebuilds : neither ever ran to capability. Sold it:( Answer: CAT, they were clogged. No codes. If you have an old CAT, check for flow, not emission crap. Actually, check the entire Ex system.

Do not remember which one was correct. However, since it was made in China (GAG) the crank hole was...
