I agree, all hype. I would never pay what some want for an old intake that could have been machined for decking or head milling then won't fit properly. I have seen them asking as much as $700 for one!!

Found a big issue upon disassembly along with other issues so I'm rethinking the whole build. For the money on machining a 318 and parts and yadda yadda I might just pick up a crate motor and call it done lol I think this build was doomed from the start

Thats exactly why I'm only going to polish them. There isn't much to port except that I forgot to mention a gasket match. My thing is that on those ports I don't want to cause any reversion and have them sending the pulse backwards.
