its too cold

-36* windchill this morning,off to work as usual. Just another day up here in Winterpeg.8)
 
@ about 1830 CST it's 7 F w/wind chill of -10 here in Chambana,IL. Overnight low of -1 air temp. It sucks but nothing new. Off to work on the boat tomorrow which is dealing with ice on the river. A 1 1/2 to 2 hr lock transit is taking 18-24 hrs. Gee...I can't wait.
 
I walked outside this morning at 5:30 am and let Bud "my dog" take care of business 8)
It was 4 degrees with wind chill, I was in a hot whirl pool bath by 5:35 am with a hot cup of coffee :happy10: I am in Northeast Arkansas 8)
 
Well I had my dumb or numb azz down in cold storage with the duster putting more antifreeze in it. I got thinking about it and had not checked it befor putting it up for the winter-Crap it's only good to zero. I had to drain some out and put another half gallon of full strenth in. Good to -20 now wish I done it in warm weather.
 
All the folks here in my area and north better get ready.
As rain beings to fall, it will freeze on contact, producing some icing issues tomorrow morning.

I worked in the driveway after work yesterday and it was 38. My die grinder air tool kept slowing down and I realized it was freezing up! Oh yeah, I couldn't feel my fingers anymore (with gloves). It's still better than 98 degrees summers. I can't work at all in that heat.
 
84 here in Tucson, yesterday--5 degrees above old record for the date. Today, about 74 degrees at 12:30 MST. Ben.
 
i used to love going through the desert till i was out there when my ac went out and it was only 117 degrees lol
 
23 degrees here at 4:35pm. I still have my old military arctic parka with the wolverine fur on the hood. I only wear it when the wind chill is below -10 ....otherwise its too warm to wear.
 
Windchill of 7 degrees here today, I started outside this morning at 9am and just got back inside at 4:42....no choice if I want to pay my bills, I install and repair signs for a living and most of them are outside...lol..I was hoping for snow today so it would warm up a little..

130 miles northeast of you, we have the same forecast for tomorrow and tomorrow night Mike. They're calling it a "wintry mix" but when it all comes down to it, it's just extremely dangerous freezing rain.

I hate winter. I want to go out work on mine but I hate trying to do something in the cold. I have a heater but when it gets down in the single digits, I might as well fart to keep warm.
 
42 degrees now, tomorrow morning 29 degrees, high of 54 tomorrow with sunshine, suppose to warm up by weekend thank god i can take out the cuda and enjoy the cruise ins and not freeze.
 
Snow turning to freezing rain forecast for North Carolina for Thursday A.M. Wind chill all day was around 0 degrees this morning and didn't get much better during the day. It is now a balmy 26 degrees right now and going down to mid teens overnight.

ThanksGiving weekend it was -28 with -54 wind chill in Cody WY

It's a little below freezing here and is supposed to get down to around 0 farenheit by the weekend and snow a bit.
Not bad for southern Alberta, just typical. Looks like we'll have a white christmas after all!
Now if that damn wind would stop......That's what makes it really bad!
 
We had beautiful snow flurries for the last 2 days, nothing sticking to the ground, just nice fluffy snow. This morning we are back to normal in the deep south - freezing rain and sleet. From a winter wonderland to frozen, wet depresing hell.
