I don't discriminate, I like all kinds of cars! This one just happen to be the one on tv when I turned speed tv on. If I'd bought that, I'd be taking that thing to the silver state race and also be taking down Ferraris and lambs left and right!

Anyone see Goldbergs 68 Hemi Dart clone? Went for $95,000, 2010 Mr Norms Cuda Convertible $85,000. Golbergs Dart had a Ray Barton Hemi 700+ HP

1932 ford with a 5.7 Hemi and GM tranny! Guy covered the big three with that one.

At least he got one part of it right!!

The Barret Jackson guy was talking about the car and got the engine and said "its got a 5.7 Hemi in it, yeah it's got power alright". That same host just said "he liked it kinky" haha

Notice the continued lack of nice original or even restored muscle cars? I believe over half of all cars crossing the block thus far have been customs.....anyone else seeing this?8-[

Look at the prices, a 70 Hemi Cuda documented by Galen, $100,000, WHAT A KICK IN THE ***!!! Actually it's nice the prices are just re-adjusting to where they should be, this show has destroyed our car market for years, it's just like the housing market, way over-inflated!! Now we will see who the real car guy's are, not the fricken investors!!!! Don't know about the rest of you, but I dont have millions to throw around on car's I'll never drive. This just brings things back into perspective, and let's the average guy who really loves these car's actually be able to own one, OK, I'm done going off now, let's get real on what these car's are really worth, and let them go to a real home where they will be used, and enjoyed, and not used as an investment!!!!!!!

The investors are still there...do you think Ron Pratte is actually a "car guy"? They're just buying at deflated prices, sittin' on the cars 'til the price goes up, then resell ,when the market improves, probably at a profit. All sorts of shenanigans go on at BJ anyway...who knows what's real or fake.

That car was re-boddied, agree prices need to be lowered as we see, but there were 19 mopars much nicer nt shown on TV, it is the Pepsi, Chevy, Mustang speed crowd as always!

Sad, if you get the 40th and car listing catalogs from Jackson, you will see more stories and cover pics etc on Mopars.

Actually Craig is more of a Mopar guy too.

Sad and a waste on TV for me, I was really wanting to see the hammer prices on the mopars.

Well said

It seems to me that of all of the good cars that sold on saturday, 100 grand was the magic number for this year so far.
It was 25 grand on thursday and friday for the good drivers.
Yeah, lots of resto mods, especially on saturday.
I really thought that the motorcycle "Big Toe" was dumb.

It was not the Barrett Jackson of a few years ago....everyone is sitting on their nicely restored or original musclecar awaiting the return of 2007 once again.....:sleepy1:

Just watched a nice 70 Chally RT cross the line for $78,000,these to me are realistic prices if you want said car.

Wow, watching it this year, thought it was the lamest one yet. Nothing but custom cars and Vettes...but that is what some people want. Not many stockers, really really boring to watch. Stupid people spending stupid money on cars, but still, I can't stop watching. I got to go to this auction in 2005 and it was fun and an experience I will never forget. There were several cool cars, lots of Mopars, thought the cars were spendy then, they are almost double now. I have mixed feelings about this auction, does it ruin the hobby? Yes, No, Maybe? I think the worst thing is other people saying, "well one sold on BJ for X,***,*** so that is what mine is worth" Any way you look at it, still beautiful cars and plenty of action! My 2 cents.

Actually I was at Steve Magnantes house in Mass. this past summer delivering my 71 Dart drag car I sold him and he gave me a tour of his place. I saw the 67 Dart he has it's red with a black vinyl top if I'm not mistaken i believe it had a 426 Ramcharger in it.

I can`t help but laugh when I see the president of BJ with his sunglasses on inside at night. I guess when you`re cool, the sun shines on you 24 hours a day!
