How cold is it where you live!

It's -19C here in Winnipeg. Just saw on the weather channel that it was -40C today in Winnipeg in 1966. That's -40F too. The only temp where the two temperature scales F & C meet.

just hit 20 degrees,...think I'll put on some shorts, grab the snow shovel, and dig out the shop doors,....again...need to tune up the ski's..

In Lakefield it is -20 with the windchill -30. Freakin cold!! I want spring so bad I'd dry hump a palm tree!!

It's so cold here that I just seen a group of teens and they all had there pants pulled up;-)

It's a blistering 20 degrees here in Indy now, the warmest it's been in ....seems like forever! :happy2:

Too cold. Its 28 degrees now here in northern Virginia, but will be down in the lower teens tonight. I hate winter and never more than when I have trouble with the furnace. Got home from work on Monday and no heat. Service technician got it working on Tuesday morning $276.00, but implied that it might not continue working till spring without another $700.00 in repairs, which he couldn't do at that time and it would take 2 or 3 business days to get parts. I didn't schedule the additional work. Friday night I got home and again no heat. This time they couldn't get it going again, but still charged $115 for the visit. Rather than spend another $700.00 on the existing 17 year old furnace, I decided on a new furnace for $3200.00 which will be installed Tuesday. We won't have any temperatures above freezing between now and then. Went out and bought two electric space heaters and borrowed two more from work. I'm afraid of pipes freezing, especially since the house sits on a crawl space. I've got all the faucets dripping indoors but the outdoor faucets won't budge and I'm not forcing them. They may already be frozen since I'm sure the pipes leading to them in the crawl space are alot colder.
I have three space heaters on the main floor and one upstairs. Overnight it stayed about 58 upstairs and was about 48 downstairs.
I have a gas log fireplace that I always figured would be a great backup heat source if the furnace ever failed. But I haven't used it in probably 8 years and couldn't get the pilot light lit. DOH!!

It's 53 degrees in the shade here in the upper high desert of SoKal. Sun is shining. My wife and I are realtors if anyone wants to relocate to year round crusing :)

Single digits all day today all down to -8F tonight I just hate winter. Went to garage today all was OK turned right around and went home too cold.

I'll be another SoCal smartass and brag that its 72 degrees right now. Its supposed to get to 74 later. :iconbigg:

Dog poop freezes solid in 15 minutes at 5 degrees F,...Your results may vary depending on the size of dog...

-28 here Toronto this morning now -18 cold as heck

Well it rarely gets to -20 c around here, but lately it has been hovering in the -10 range at night. During the day it stays below or just around zero. Makes for really slick roads!

It's a different kind of cold from the prairies, damp and penetrates your bones.

-30c or -22F
Either way you look at it, its blood cold here today!
Thats with the wind chill.
Oshawa ON
