Newman If you've never drank soda or pop out of a glass returnable bottle you still don't understand!

Mountain Dew Throwback. Pepsi Throwback. Made with REAL SUGAR!!! not high fructose corn syrup. BIG difference.

Funny how it is growing up with sodas of a different generation. I tried the throwback sodas and i thought they were gross.

dr. pepper for me.

pepsi/coke is about the same on my list. No real preference one way or the other.

Coke back in the day was the ****.In the big bottles, before they started putting alot of corn syrup and other crap in it :angry7:You can buy it at Mexican grocers

also around Xmas a lot of grocery stores carry the 6pk bottles as a holiday edition. Or atleast they use to.

My mother used to buy Tab in the 80's. It was always a tough decision after the Mt Dews ran out to raid her stash or to drink tap water. Usually went with tap water.

Don't think I ever drank a Tab, but that commercial messed me up for life it's been women an down hill ever since I was 14...

I didn't know the throwback soda was any different, thought they were talking about the can, I will have to try it now

Both mine and my bro's problem with Pepsi is that it leaves a sort of nasty tasting coating on our tongues. It's also too sweet. My dad got me some this morning while in the gas station since they don't have coke. It took me 5 hours to finish it, just because I don't like it that much. Now, the Coke I bought today at work, after remembering I bought it 2 hours before, was gone in about 10 min.

Haven't tried the Pepsi Throwback. I did try the Dr. P version and it wasn't bad. The Mt. Dew Throwback is absolutely amazing in the difference.

I've always loved Pepsi, but since being diagnosed with diabetes 6 months ago, I gave it up.

But then again, everyone has different tastes. If everyone had the same refined taste, there wouldn't be as many Chevys in the world.

Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha.

I am working on it myself. Decaf tea with sweet n low isn't too bad and helps keep my sugar down.

drink alot of sweet tea and bud light but when i grab a soda its been doc pepper or serria mist loved mountain dew but cant drink it im extremly senstive to caffine

Barq's Root Beer for me! Check out this place I spotted in Ventura on my way home. Looked like fun but didn't have time to stop.

I used to be Coke only, now Mtn Dew has taken over for me with Coke being a close second and Barq's being a distant 3rd. I would prefer salt water to most of the others. Diet anything defeats the purpose IMHO.

Of the products listed, i drink Diet Coke most often. But, my favorite soft drink is "Manhattan Special" coffee soda. it's only found for sale in the NY City area (perhaps Rumblefish knows of it. It's absolutely wonderful.
I used to get it via mail order. Have had any in a while, though.

here ya go...

RC Cola or any of the Throwbacks. They taste so much better, and the Pepsi does not leave that residue on your tongue that the regular Pepsi does.

Agreed also the Dr Pepper Heritage is made with real sugar too.
