Sexy Pair of Sixty-Sixes!!

Keith, that Valiant looks something like a Hurst Valiant and your dads car seems like it rolled off the assembly line. Nice picture. It would be nice if I can use some off them in my restoration manual.

Here you go Scott, some shots you should like...

Thanks for the interior shots Keith. Now how do you get drool out of the keyboard???](*,):D
Your dad(fishyPete)sure has kept that car prestine!

'66's are my favorite, I see you and your Dad think so too. Does your Dad's car have the 7 1/4 rear? Please don't think I'm trying to pick his car apart, I'm just curious. Thanks for the epic pics.

It has a factory 8 3/4 rear and discs up front

Looking good! :thumblef: How's the baby?? keeping you up at night?

Nope, he has been sleeping thru the night for the last 4 months, he is 5 Months now, already crawling and pulling himself up and standing!! He is a monster, for his age, 20 lbs, getting big way too fast!

It's funny, dad never ever beat on his car, even when he was young, but when he gets in my 66, he hammers on it and goes thru the gears almost as hard as I do!!

Dad's just getting back at you for hammering on the family car after you got your license. But you didn't do that! That's your story and your sticking to it right.:D

That's awesome your dad having his fish that long.

Thank for the pictures Keith!

Tom

enjoy! :thumblef:

Very nice indeed Keith. I need to look for a nice Inland stick for a console. Brewers has rebuilt Hurst shifters that accept the Inland stick. tmm

Great shots. I have one just like your dads in a different color and transmission. I bet yours is fun to drive. If you let me drive it, I won't drive it like your dad.:burnout:

Come on guys...... The Inland shifters are not that bad (but they are not that great either).

I love the Barracuda. So fresh and clean. Best of all, it's not red or one of those other colors that are so popular at car shows, that they are not even interesting any more.

And the Valiant looks as awesome as ever. Those black fenders and steel wheels out back (in my opinion) have always set apart from others. It really has a clean, old school, racer look.

I am a sucker for a sixty six!
(and I want an early inland shifter, I will even trade my factory late model hurst shifter for one)

Looks great! Glad to see you put your black steelies back on, and the Cragars are new. For some reason I like that look...

Yup, I like the Cragars up front too, they are 15x4 front runners, I believe the date code is 66 or 67 on them, came off a 68 superstock Barracuda...but I still have a soft spot for the AR torq thrusts :prayer:

When are you going to paint those fenders Keith? Just kidding. Your 66 is one of my favorites on here. Where is that burnout video that you posted a while back? I'd like to see it again.

Man your Dad's 66 Barracuda must be one of the nicest samples surviving. Gotta agree, great colors. Thanks for sharing.

X 2 of what everyone else is saying. Terrific to see a father & Son team - well done to both of you.
I have a '66 Barracuda in the same colour combo as your dad's - but unfortunately mine has been beaten up badly during it's life.
When I show it the photos he will drip oil !! LOL:cheers:
