So sorry to hear this...file for unemployement immediately and start looking ASAP. Found out from prior experience that you'll feel much better about yourself if you keep active with your job search. Good luck!
It happened to me back in '99 after 17 years with the same company. New ownership and out the door for existing management.

i am also willing to pick it up and haul it to any interested parties. i also just found out that my dissability case is being cut off with no payout. looks like i mite be selling off my projects as well.

Final update - the truck is still available i have been working with a few guys but no one has been able to make it happen. It is set to go to scrap monday, if you can get it before then it is yours if not it is gone. I also went to dmv it is on non op so no back fee's are due, it also had the transmission and front end rebuilt just before it was parked in 08- i found the reciepts in the glove box. It also had 2 new tires on the rear. If someone can get it it would be great cause time is running out.

i own a car hauling business, if available whats my time frame, ill build a load down there and come pick it up!!!!!!

go empty out her julery drawer and see how she likes that dam nice wood hauler for me but like others i am always 2000 miles away from the gold course if it was in wisc it would sit u ntill we needed to haul something LIKE WOOD TO KEEP OUR SHOPS WARM WHILE WE WORK ON THE WIFES CAR

Man, saw a few posters that are closer than I am and it's gone to the scrap yard?? In Texas, you can't scrap a vehicle without papers....at least not legally.

I could go get it anytime but there is no title. In California, you must have a title signed off by the registered owner to transfer a vehicle to your name. No tags either, so I couldn't drive it legally on the street to its new home.

I sent a pm bout a week ago with no response...hope this didnt get crushed, or he at least was able to convert the bride!

If this had been anywhere with in 200 miles from me I would have picked it up immediately and saved it.

If scrap is bringing there what it is here there would have been about $600 just in weight plus the goodies so if no one would save it he may have had to pull the trigger.

I ran it by dad(im broke) but he was definitely interested. Only thing being is we need paperwork to get it across the border. Title and receipt....

Oh I home something came up and it wasnt sent to its final resting place. I wish I had seen this ad sooner. Ive been looking for my own dodge pick up for a long time now. Well, Ill keep checking my inbox for the next few days just in case. Sad thing is that im only a couple hours away and could pick it up today.

I understand. Location is what was the killer for me. I went to a little town 20 miles west of Washington DC about 25 years ago to save a bunch of 1927 Buick parts from going in to the crusher. We had all the hard parts and a few body parts off three plus cars. We had just over 9K pounds of parts.
