Tubbing the Valiant

-
Brad;Where did you get the nifty dash pod for those guages? I want one!!!

I sure am enjoying this build  Congratulation on some very great work and fun you are having Brad426 :D and taking the time to share it with us :happy1:

I'm not sure of the P/N off hand for the guage pod. Bought it from Jegs (best price). Took the Valiant to the shop yesterday for the x over pipe, custom driveshaft loop and setting up the 4 bar, pinion angle & 4 wheel alinement. Not much to do after that. Thanks for the nice words of encouragement everyone. It's been a long road and an expensive one. I've learned alot and this website has helped me the most. BTW, this is how we measure tire width in Canada Eh!....LOL :thumblef:
Cheers,

Thanks for the info Brad. I see your car is ready for cruise night! (well, pretty close anyways)

I know I will do a victory dance when my Dart is done! Preferably upon the face of the asshat who stole my snowblower..

No,Im not! Some assface stole it Nov 24-25 in the night. Me with M.S trying to shovel, and no blower. I have a VERY STRONG suspicion who it was. He is known as a thief and asshole. The result was an insurance claim. $500 decuctable, but my union greivance chair is a close, personal frined of mine. He set up a charity donation for us at one of the union's open house night's. We recieved over $311 for it!!! And another anonymous donation came in our mailbox,in the form of an xmas card and $200 cash! So the new blower cost me ZERO,and the thief did me almost no harm.

Sorry to jump on your great thread in an unrelated thing Brad. Im still VERY ANGRY about this, and have sworn revenge if and when I get well. Miracles do happen. Asshat better watch his back.

WOW! That is low brother. Just keep in mind. What goes around, comes around and you discovered that you have lots of friends that helped you out, so some good did come of it. Maybe assface will get caught up in the auger, That would be justice. I'm PO'd off with you.

I KNOW WHO STOLE IT Brad. I' will have my vengence...

Like I said, miracles do happen. This I KNOW in my heart. I will be well enough to confront this assface one day. He should not have forgot that I have been involved with martial art's my whole life. Soon it will be time to pay the piper...I just need time to heal my body from the damage done, and then he is my *****.

I don't know about Canada but pre meditated revenge in the U.S is not a good thing. Lets say you drop the guy and he hits his head on something and Die's. Here in the States that is Pre meditated murder etc. 30 years in the Klink at least.

Call the police if the guy still has it have him arrested. If you have your receipt and paperwork with the serial number that is the best thing to do.

No need to go pound the guy, he will get his in due time. It will happen on its own without your help I guarantee it.:D

Thanks for the calming influence Louis. Now take the time to see it from my page.

You are headed for a wheel chair. You are sick EVERY DAY,and can only get sicker. There is no cure,no drug,no relief. You cannot do for yourself, have to reliy on others to do it for you. Along comes this stranger who seems nice, befriends you and even helps you out a bit. Just what you need huh? Could really use some friends and help when this sick. Your family is 1200 km's away, and cant be bothered to visit. Hell they dont even call. Even some of the "friend's " on your internet sight's have zero mercy or pity for your position or pain. Your wifes family is too bloody busy to help you with anything either. Oh,and on top of all this, your wife also has M.S and your both trying to raise 2 little kids. So this new "friend " is more than welcome,he is needed.

So now this new "friend " betrays you by stealing from you. Stealing something you very badly needed, because he is an addict. An addict who is willing to crush your spirit forever, just so he can get high. An addict who has been through all the recovery programs, yet hasnt learned a thing.

REVENGE WILL BE MINE.

Sorry Brad. I'm checking out on this thread,I've taken waaaaaaay to much space here that you deserve, not me.

Well I made great progress over the Easter weekend. My nephew was down from Edmonton and we had a great weekend at the drag races and cutting some metal. He's a FORD truck guy but, I forgive him.

It was not easy cutting the hole. Measure 100 times, cut once. So far so good. Does anyone have the location/spacing of the two front scoop supports? Also I need the paint code for the mat black used to paint the hood black loike the AAR's & T/A's please.

The dash is ready to install. I made my own radio delete plate.

Stay tooned

The hood is back on so that will help not to drop it on the floor again. Next step is to mount the hood tach and get back to the wiring & dash. Should be starting the engine soon depending on the wife's honey do list....lol Darn garden! :violent1:
