Hell. I have a passport. I'll just go and pick it up. No charge!

If it was a 331 it will, but very slowly.. hopefully it's a 426

That's a 426. Totally different block.

As for the 331, it would depend on the year. If its a '51 with a 2 barrel, factory spec is 180 hp, 312 ft lbs of torque. But if its a '55 331 out of a Chrysler 300 with a factory dual quad, is 300 hp and 345 ft lbs of torque. I bet that would move an A body just fine.

WOW that thing looks nice. Nothin like looking at an original beast of history.

What are those tubes @ back of the intake? Exhaust circulated manifold heat?

Those tubes are the heat to the manifold on cold startup. The heads do not have a provision for exhaust crossover.

I am all too familiar with the Hemi's of the fifties and sixties as I was driving these cars. I owned a 1956 Chrysler 300 back in 1960 and yes it was black and it was beautiful. When I hit 18, I built a 35 Ford with a 331 Latham supercharged hemi, that was cool/ Were you around in those years?

As far as the statement I made, I was joking about.

Gawd, i gotta get one of these before i die!
#1 on my bucket list right there.

oh itll move an A body just fine, the bigger question is just how high you want your a body to fly when it lifts off ? the moon?

I want a hemi period. Even an old, undesirable one. Even one that can't be repaired, just to doll up and make a conversation piece.

looks like it's going to be a little slow in a E body. he should just sell it to you.
A bodies love to have a hemi in them.

For how much those things are worth I would just build one myself, accumulating individual parts over many years' time. Build it up slightly hotter than factory, maybe roller cam with aftermarket rockers, aluminum heads, etc. Then drop it in a '71-74 Plymouth B-body for aerodynamics and start aiming for 200 MPH

yeeeaaahhh... and while I'm at it I'd like to have all the Victoria's Secret models as my girlfriends lol

I'm betting 50 grand or so is sitting on that engine stand right there?

I have one but would love to have a spare and i also love a good road trip. Hemi's are like cash you can never have enough.
