Sometimes when I put my key in to start my 1971 Plymouth Duster it gets stuck and I have a hard time getting it out! I am afraid one of these time it is not going to come out and/or break off, how do I correct this!

Thank You!

Does it have a gummy feel to being 'stuck' ? If so, could be just old grease. But more likely the mechanical part is worn out, and may indeed get your key stuck. The keyed mechanical tumbler and the electrical switch are separate parts that can be replaced.

Tap around the lock cylinder with a small mallet while you wiggle the key. After you get it out lube the cylinder with the graphite lock lube.
