What country music are you listening to?

-
Disclaimer: "Country" isn't my specialty.
My wife had Reba on something last night. No disrespect, she seems to have a unique voice, but the music was too typical of what passes for country now. Where is Hee Haw when you need it? Eight More Miles To Louisville.
Just not me. I liked her in the movie.

You poor child to have not grown up with Hee Haw.

He's a sub genre of country you may have missed.
Oh what is sold.
And oh what is really good.
What a chasm exists between the two.
I'm Looking for Lewis and Clark and there is the State of My Union.

Old country music is okay, i don't like the new stuff at all.
It all went downhill with line dancing and that ''Achey Breaky Heart'' song.
Ugggh!
That was terrible..........
For the record, i don't care for the new rock or techno stuff either, and don't get me started on rap!
BTW, Country music is VERY popular in Canada!
