omelet style eggs with diced ham, onion and green pepper topped with some extra sharp cheddar on a toasted onion bulkie... side of crispy home fries.. is anyone else getting hungry?

He was in the Rockies terminating natives. I think so.

Great movie, Redford's finest IMO.

yep yep - never got into Robert Redford that much but i really dug this one and "Three Days of the Condor"

NOPE Sorry, not.

LMFAO - oh well what can i say, i was 11 when that one came out - definitely left an impression!!!

"hey Shuvayez, how come they aint killin' us?"

"were in the spirit world asshole, they caint see us"

Just got home from the neighbor's daughter's 'n husband about ate myself sick. So tonight I dug out "Conagher" 1991 Sam Elliott Katharine Ross

That's a dang goodun. Specially when it's in the right spot. LOL

Love Sam Elliot.. Awesome voice, doing the" RAM Truck " commercial 's, for a damn long time...

I didn't realize he was married to Katharine Ross, who has been married several times. They've been married quite awhile. I cannot think of too many of his I don't like

Another one is 'The quick and the Dead' 1987. !!!NO!!! This is not the one with Hackmand, Sharon Stone, and "the irritant"

Both these movies, Conagher and the 1987 "Q&D" are by Louis L'Amour

Another one is 'The quick and the Dead' 1987.

I love that one...the scene where 'The Ute' gets it comes to mind. Matt Clark as Doc Shabitt, some great acting there. And the bad luck of 'Red' is almost comical.

Rough Riders with Tom Berenger was sort of a western. I can't believe how well he fit the part of Teddy.

The obvious.......................
And Tom Horn has already been given honorable mention.
If realism is important, here is one of my favorites that is usually overlooked.
However, like "The Missing" the Apache belief system plays a part in the plot.
Perhaps even more so.
And Burt Lancaster is the world weary scout.
The young officer from back east gets a lesson.
Why do people behave like they do? Because of what they believe.
The American Indian doesn't seem to have been all the same in that regard.

I watched " Bend in the River" last week,( maybe 3 times,) I recorded off the sat. tv. I myself, love looking at the scenery, the old wagons, I watch to see which actors can actually sit a horse! I find myself looking at the clothes even.

I really like Sam Elliot in westerns. he and that other big actor dude, I can't call his name, they demand " authenticity" in guns, tack, clothes, the correct sound of the gun going off, .......

Almost anything Eastwood. The Duke is always good. Most of the movies already mentioned. A second vote for The Proposition. Australian flick. Very well done.

Valdez is Coming, Tombstone, 3:10 to Yuma, Open Range, and really far out West (or East) Quigley Down Under, AND I believe Robert Duval play!s the best cowboy in the movies

ARIZONA with Jean Arthur and William Holden ! A very good 1940 Black and White 2 hour Western movie.

Nobody can "sit a horse" like Monte Walsh..... :)

All the "Man with no name" Eastwood stuff, color John Wayne movies , but nobody mentioned one of my all time favorite with Jimmy Stewart. The Cheyenne Social Club. Laugh my butt off when Henry Fonda talks all the way to Cheyenne and Jimmy Stewart finally turns to him and says" Harley, why are you following me?" or something to that effect. Also love his line when he says"Yessir that's just about the worst lookin' eye, I think I've ever seen." Never saw the unedited version till a few years ago. James Gardner was also one of my favorites. Not the best accurate cowboy but he had a great sense of humour. Watched Quigley Down Under at least 20 times. Did not care for Magnum PI but Tom did some good westerns.
Glad you guys reminded me. I just bought a Eastwood movie.
