I, like a lot of you out there enjoy watching all the car shows on Velocity channel. Just watched the first episode of the new season of "Wheeler Dealers". You know the English guy who finds cars (originally in Europe, now moved across the pond) and bringing them back to the shop to refurb and re sell. They showed a teaser of this season's projects and lo-and behold....They are going to do a 1965 Barracuda! (just happens to be the exact car that I am just starting a restoration on). You guys might want to set the DVR to check out the show. They usually spend quite a bit of time going over mechanicals and some cosmetics...It should be interesting.

Thanks for that, I like that show better than most if not all of the others. I'll set the DVR up.

I am a big Edd fan as well, but I watched anyway. I don't have anything against the new guy. Mike was the problem imho. And I'll be watching the Barracuda episode.

There is a few video's with Ed on Youtube. He gives the reason why he left the show. Seems the new owners to the rights to the show didn't think Ed's role was that important and decided to reduce his time showing what has to be done to get these cars rolling again. He thought otherwise and gave them a stiffy.

Did I miss the episode with the 65 barracuda?

Speaking of TV. SPEAKING OF TV! Monday, this Monday, Nov 27, 2017, I am going to TN. to shoot a segment with Masters TV for Performance TV, Motor Head Garage, and Rev'n TV (aired in the mid-west to the west coast). These shows will be aired next year.

like said, its on ch. 247. its only on high def, some the old receivers such the 301 and 311, dont even list it. dave.

I agree. Ed would take things apart that weren't meant to be serviced and fix a broken wire or a worn bush. This new season they don't show as much technical work and more ephasis has been placed on Mike and his "wheeling and dealing". That's the direction they told us they would be going so it was no surprise.

I'll continue to watch the show in anticipation of Ed's new project coming out. He has several offers and wants to do a show his way. I say good for him!
