I figure the EPA perhaps causes a lot of problems in the US for casting anything , steel production, oil refineries, and the cow man!????/

Oh! Well, er, the United States isn't the only country with worker-safety and anti-pollution laws. Matter of fact, many countries have much stricter ones.

Not trying to add to the friction of the "political forum", but lets face it, the EPA has a well earned rep as a bch of idiots! I am all for worker safety and real world polution control.
Back to thee subject. I wish I had the $ to have bought a set of Dog's exh. back when he did them. I am no racer but sm cool work... There was a guy on slantsix.org. that was supposedly going to have the hyper pac exhaust cast, but I think he had some health issues arise. I was intending to get a set of his but it never happened I guess.

'Course not! LOL!

Among talk-radio shriekers whose job is to stir up ѕhіt—and those members of the general public who've made up their mind and don't wish to be confused with facts—yeah. In reality, the US EPA does a lot of high-quality work. Today's cars all over the world are vastly cleaner than they used to be because of the US EPA—the air quality is far better than it used to be, even though a whole lot more people are driving a whole lot more cars a whole lot more miles. That's why we hobbyists can drive our old cars; if everyone had an old car, the air would be unbreathable. This huge improvement is entirely due to the EPA's work, one of the first tasks they set to work on after President Nixon formed the EPA in the first place, and it's only one example out of many; see here—from Business Insider, not at all a liberal publication, but if you want backup see here (Fortune) and here (Grist) and here (Popular Science). The people of the EPA are not perfect; nobody is, but a "bunch of idiots" they are definitely not.

It didn't, but now there's another guy interested in having a go at it; see this thread.

I agree Dan, it is unfair for me or anyone to make a blanket statement degrading EPA> Yes I am a car guy, BUT mainly a rural Ag guy. Yes I do appreciate clean air. I also appreciate logic , reason, and common sense.
Here is one example of the extent of abuse that can come from the EPA. I now live in SE Tx, 1 mile from a huge national forest. Many thousands of acres. The Govn;t manages this vast timberland. This management come under the US Forestry Service. They will determine areas that should have its timber "thinned", this is for the health of this forest. Let a contact be issued, and the tree hugging parts of the EPA will throw it routinely into litigation for 3-4 years , all because of some made up threat to the environment. This is an example. Their list is long.
Another example of strife between Ag and EPA is the ongoing debate over BLM grazing rights. Another long discussion.

Well...my questions are

Will they be available from Australia here in the states?
How much in American dollars?

It's not either/or, but many people use those words logic, reason, common sense to mean "According to my opinion" (no matter how well or poorly informed it might be).

That's not how it works—it really isn't. The EPA does not "make up environmental threats", though if you don't have the whole picture or know all the info, it might look, sound, or feel that way.

When our cars were new, this (in the attached pic) was considered perfectly acceptable with no consequences. Eventually scientists, including at the EPA, figured out this is a seriously awful thing to do, and laws were passed against it. People who had been doing it for years reacted the same way you just did: "What? Gimme a break, I've been doing it for years; this is a made-up threat by tree-hugging weenies."

My opinion is definitely not always correct, no doubt many times flawed.
But, take the timber/national forest scenario I mentioned. Example, the bird watcher's agenda (tree hugger)> he spots a woodpecker of a species that is deemed to have fewer numbers that experts determined there should be, in this particular area.. Are those numbers correct? Turns out No. Later determined inaccurate. So this patch of timber is not thinned. So what? Forestry management. There is a reason stands of trees are thinned at the proper time. Reduces problems with dead fallen trees, which in turn causes problems with insect and disease which in turn destroys the environment these people want to protect, that in turns protects their bird. .... the bird watcher has one agenda. His. There lies the problem.
Why can environmentalist ,the tree hugger get a bad rep, ?? Lack of common sense and tunnel vision concerning their agenda.
Another of many examples. The issue with the "wild" mustang. The BLM , thru law, protects this vast number of wild horses. Most run on BLM land. The "tree hugger" as I refer to this group in general, goes to all and extreme measures to try to impose their wishes on all concerned. BUT, they neglect the fact of the damage a horse does to the eco system where these horses roam, by the thousands, and numbers grow every year. Yet these same uninformed, agriculturally uneducated people also have their agenda of removing all cattle from BLM land. They have no idea the good that cattle do for the plant life, the health of this fragile environment. The damage the horse does the cow does not. They have total tunnelvision. Forget the fact these same people, are responsible for the govn't rounding up thousands of mustangs, delivering to ranchers in Ok and other states and paying them per head to provide grass, hay and feed at the taxpayers expense. Who is responsible for thi. The tree hugger with its tunnelvison for hi personal agenda.
When I was a kid, we spread used motor oil on the dirt road in front of our old house to keep down dust. We don't do that any more. We know better.............. And they paved the road!!!!!!!

Thats how the military still makes outdoor #1 latrines...a hole with pebbles in it. You wanna get rid of used motor oil, take it to an auto parts store and dump it in their waste oil drum in the back...only way to go.
And why the hard-on for Dutra duals? I never understood the facination for that design for $600. Seems a simple "2 90's and a straight" welded to some flanges would be about the same. No shorty (hyperpak design) headers for a slant? Easy stuff....in tubing

Yes, they will. As I wrote earlier (Reply #15) the price is AUS$695, the exchange rate is today about 0.75:1, so my guess is you'll be up for about US$520/pair plus freight...

Back in the day digging a hole, filling with gravel in order to "properly" (for the times) dispose of the used oil seemed pretty complicated and time consuming. Doing a simple "roadside oil change" on a deserted backroad was quick and efficient. Just ease over onto the shoulder, grass, dirt or gravel and remove drain plug, ditch the filter, install new and fill up and roll. Thank God for oil reclamation sites, we've come a long way!
