Stop in for a cup of coffee

Has warmed up to 7 degrees here, but got wife's truck unburied. It was that hard igloo type snow and she high centered. You kind of cut it into chunks then lift it out. At least she made it home. Our front yard is a cornfield so we get nasty drifts. This is our drive. She swears there was no wine involved but she always drinks wine while painting! And it was paint night! Just sayin...

I call it turtled...
I do it occasionally when plowing, get a little greedy and try to push pile higher and raise plow. End up packing snow under front of truck. That reminds me, i better test my winch, its in the back under the box.

OK, I need a battery for the wife's Buick. Kind of special because it's under the back seat. O reillys and Advanced have them in stock. Both are priced about the same with a 25% discount code from Advanced. You guys buy either and have good or bad luck?

Don't know about your special back seat battery. But I have bought batteries from Advanced and never had a problem. Actually for same reason, love the online discount and go pick it up. Not like any of them are making batteries anyway. Could be the exact piece with a different label

It's a 79 series battery. It's complete sealed and the vents exit the car through the undercarrage. I used the 25% online discount and got it for $119.99 + tax. The comparable Interstate I found was $186 + tax. I'm on my way to Advance. LOL Advance has 24 mo. free replacement and the Interstate has 30 mo. Not much difference for the price.

Actually, that would be very much like the Magnum battery, which I did get there. It was located all the way in back next to the spare and had the external vent line. But I think it was about $175 with discount.

Yep, I bet it was very similar. I looked up a Magnum (without knowing your specifics) and they listed a Group H7. Mine was Group 79. But anyway, same kind of thing. I installed it and tested it. With 840 cca it tested to well over 1000cca and it was only a little over 60% charged. My old one only tested to 654cca. I should be good to go. I noticed the date tag and it was stamped Jan 19. It should be a fresh one.
