Stop in for a cup of coffee

67 Dart 2 Door Post, 360/904/8.75.

Next steps, finish up front fenders and get ready for paint.

Drive line done, underbody sealed and painted, engine bay and inside trunk painted back to original factory color. So yes, getting close.

Been on the back burner for a bit, need to get back on it again.

Lucky, all original blue interior yet. Goes well with the exterior body color.

Happy Camper . . .

Even has the factory rubber mat in it yet. Smells like a mopar when you open the door, lucky there too.

Time for another coffee. Two lumps please....

Service done.
Shop is a disaster. So i will deal with it first. Then on to the work.
Just not feelin it today.
May be a job offer coming up. I would be stupid to turn it down.

Good morning, day off. Not too hot and sticky here today. Took the Fury out yesterday, a Irish pub serves a good Sunday "brunch," not the usual scene around here with double-wide strollers and 30-somethings trying to out-talk each other. Boy I wish I could tell you how good the Fury is running, so smooth and quiet it's like being back in the '70's...but I can't for fear I'll jinx it :D So I really didn't just say that. :D

By the way, for a while now I've been adding 2-cycle oil to my fuel, the kind that says TCW3 on it, one oz per 5 gal. On another forum, someone did a thorough study and found you gain a little mpg and it does other good things. I'm a believer and it's cheap.

Couldn't hurt. Lord knows they have taken all the good stuff out of fuels. Adding ethanol sure doesn't add any lubricating qualities. Thanks Petroleum producers for that.

Yes. Same kind of work, dirtier. Fleet maintenance. No customers. 5 years, maybe contract work.
If the $ is there, probably less headaches. Dealing with the public can be challenging. One of my paving contractors/customers calls me up one day, "Your sales department promised me at least 150 tons per hour. According to my tickets I'm only getting 125!". "According to my computer controlled tickets, I'm sending you 200 tons per hour. I can slow down if you like." He was quiet after that for the rest of the job

Morning all, you guys have fun in Carlisle. David, I have been using ATF in my fuel for years.

I did that to me diesel fuel for years after they started with that Ultra low emissions diesel fuel. I don't care what studies the gov shows, I saw first hand too many injection pump failures to know that ULSD was destroying injection pumps as I had to rebuild them. A cummins engineer suggested we dump a bottle of 2 cycle into it, so we started recommending that to our customers and the number of failures DROPPED to almost none

IDK. I'd say keep an eye on the spark plugs to look for signs the burn isn't finishing clean.

Just checking in before I get ready for work. Tim is probably halfway to Hoppyland by now. We did a couple minor repairs on his trailer this morning. So it’s ready to roll when he comes back for it.

Its hot and humid.
80’s and clammy. Storms are on the way, rain for a couple days.
Still not liking my day so far.

Looked under my Envision. Lookie there. Oil filter and drain plug out in the open.
