I'm wondering if others have these flat stamped steel rings bolted to one bolt on the front sway bar cage? Are these for shipping/delivery and should I pitch them in the trash?
Thanks

Never heard of such a thing, are you in the US or overseas? Like said above, post a picture!

Crystal ball is down for maintenance. Post a picture.

I can't post photos. I only use my cell phote to post. I guess these are unusual if a crystal ball is needed?
I seem to recall someone else asking about these things. It was well over ten years ago but I think I remember someone saying that they were used to hold the vehicle to the transport vehicle bed. I can't verify this so I can't be sure. They are just two stamped steel sort of eyelet looking things attached to the front bolts of the sway bar bushing caged on the right and left side of the sway bar. They look a lot like the tow eyes that Mancini sells. Mancini doesn't show them attached to the sway bar. They seem to show them attached (bolted) to a bumper bracket bolt I seem to recall.

I have seen brackets on the rear of some B bodies before, but never anything on the front.

If you have an Apple or Android it is super easy to post pics .
Now if I could just figure out how to use Facebook and Youtube . Lol

On Android, if you click on the upload photo, you should be given 3 choices, camera, camera(video) and file. Choose camera and point and click, then click the "check" lower center. Photo will be added to the upload photos list and you can click on full and your photo will be in your post

I'll wager that they were installed by a previous owner or U-haul dealer.

Hmm. I was about to upload a photo when I saw this. What Amount would you like to wager?

Thanks all. And thanks for the tip for photos. Here is the item in question

Ya, i agree too.
That's a good idea, but it didn't come off the factory assembly line, like that.

I'll probably keep them on the car just in case I ever have a need for them.
I don't know that I'd place a whole lot of trust in them for much more than perhaps stabilizing on a trailer. They are only held on with a single 5/16" bolt and are 1/8" thick. Too easy to bend IMO.

Could be from the factory for transport . Then removed at dealership during PDI .
Some car are delivered like that

The swaybar isn't the best place for those IMO. I'd rather have them attached to a bumper bolt. AR Engineering makes a nice looking one.

I agree. Strapping a car down with these feeble loops would be a perfect solution ONLY IF the alternative is the right and left side mirrors . I suppose they would be OK for pulling the car but, even then, it would be lame. Any angular pull will cause the loops to spin in the direction of force.. I've trailered my share of cars and I can easily say I'd shy away from these for hold down points.
My bet is that someone else has seen these and may know the purpose. I'm big at guessing
