Stop in for a cup of coffee

Getting toasty out. Mid 90's again today. Don't think the humidity is too crazy. Have yard work to do. Stuff getting pretty shaggy looking. Maybe a little of that today.

I visited Point Reyes NS. Nice place to visit, other than the fault line, which is a little unsettling...
Eh, never really thought about any fault lines. Lived out here all my life, been through some good sized quakes and can’t say that the thought of them ever bothered me much. I would probably have to compare it to tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards and the like. No you can’t predict or see them coming, but not convinced that they’re any more or less dangerous. Just always be prepared like any other disaster. If it’s my time to go, it’s my time to go is how I look at it.

On the to do list today, finish my mats for the tractor, add pegboard accessories, mow the damn lawn again!

All doors don't get any love.
More door, all door, or 4 door seducer! Oh I forgot, 4 doors, no waiting!

Sounds kinda creepy when you say it like that...

May as well call them the "Cosby".... (4 door seducer...)

I'm pretty sure Point Reyes has a trail to the San Andreas fault line itself. My recollection is that is looks like a wide ditch or dry stream bed. Its kind of cool knowing what your looking at. And its normall just so innocent part of the terrain.

curious, why not? I’ve got a pair for my dart I’m gonna be putting on

Collector flange position, the flange mount Hornies have a major interference issue with the T-bar crossmember. I was very disappointed at that. Probably turned out for the best though. 16 year old daughter runnin' around town in a '72 Swinger was questionable enough at the time, but with Purple Hornies on it? :wtf: was that Dad thinkin'? From a looking back point of view. They do have the tube mount variety and a short bit of tubing from reducer with a kink in it would get past the crossmember.

Lol, won’t be a problem for me, I won’t have the Torsion bars

My Subaru job came back this morning. Ran hot. New thermostat, rad cap, water pump. Want to make it right for the customer. Found out, these flat 4's have air in the coolant problems. Been working for a few hours now, trying to get all the air out. Think I did it. Been sitting in my shop idling for 45 mins now.. Hope thats all it is.....

I was working on the wifemobile -Journey. More electrical gremlins Yesterday she couldn't change the volume on the radio. :BangHead: I popped the hood and hear a steady click click click. Look around and four ways are going, but the button's not pushed. :wtf: Disconnect battery ground and put back on - all OK. Hmmm. Took apart all the main connections positive and negative and cleaned good. (This has the battery down in front of the wheel with extra connections up top.) Most had at least some corrosion. I had looked at the ground side when I had horn issues last year, but had never disconnected the lugs joining the + side. One of them was pretty chalky even though it was like new outside. That had never been apart. Still had factory tamper paint marker on it. I had the fuses out of the horn last couple months thinking next step was horn switch and/or clock spring. Hoping todays efforts solves it. And yes it's f'kin hot out there. Supposedly air in low 90's, but the vehicle therrmo disagrees and that's where I was...

I think I will have to redo my exhaust on my 66 dart. Bigger for the 408. Might sell give the one on it now to someone. All new flowmeter to manifolds.
