Very true! I had about a 14" strip of plywood I used to make a path to my truck door. Pushbroom to clean off hood and windshield! Who woulda thunk that the guy who used to do Auto Upholstery for a living ever would become a Senior VP of a Pharmaceutical company working with the SEC and driving to secure millions of dollars in investment while innovating new technologies for advanced treatment of serious diseases?
Not me...if you had asked me if I thought it was possible back in the Upholstery days, I would have told you to pass me whatever you were smoking.
Still, my art is what makes me happiest and I’m just now starting to feel like I am finally getting good enough to seriously consider making a living at it.
Oh...and losing 96 lbs helps my outlook too. Only 34 lbs left to go!
Funny you say that, about the board. It is Cold as can be here in Seoul, and it snowed overnight a few days ago. Not much, maybe 4in. So Im on the 16 floor of the hotel. Im looking out the window. A couple a blocks away, I see a guy on a roof, pushing snow to the edges. Yup, was using what appeared to be a piece of thin wood bout 2ft wide and 3ft tall. So im thinking. WTF. It must snow here a lot. Why aint this guy got a shovel ?????

I don't even care about the Patriots anymore. And while I am still a Steelers fan (always have been). I really don't care that much about football anymore. I was never an obsessed fan or anything, but was really getting into it till they started the BS with the National Anthem and hasn't been the same since.
If they don't score on this drive I'm switching it to Cobra Kai.
