Probably valve seals. When you shut it off above idle when they are older the vacuum sucks oil past the seals and blue smoke
Good to know Thanks. I usually Idle down before shutting down but last time I didn't.

Ya I have a 15.5 Koehler it teaches you to shut it down at idle if you don’t it back fires like a rifle shot. Made me scrape my pants out more than once
:rofl:I know I would **** myself. lol
I would like to buy a new lawn mower but don't want to go in debt right now so will baby this one for as long as I can.

Well I just finished brake disc replacement and a conversion from a generator to alternator on my sprayer tractor. The brakes took most of the morning. It should be ready to start spraying this week.

Good morning, on my second cup of tee, watching forged in fire lazy day

Weeds seem bad this year CF hope you don't have that big of a problem.

&$@#%~~%¥£<## electric clutch on lawn tractor puked. That will be $200. Oh well can’t cut grass so that means I can go for a ride in the dart. Then have a few wobbly pops. Got To look on the bright side.

Happy Sunday all.
Fired up the riding lawn mower yesterday and it blew a pile of smoke out when it first started up then seemed to clear up.
Didn't mow the yard I just parked it and will have to find out what the problem is.
My old snowblower used to do that but still worked fine.

Morning guys. Had a wonderful visit at my son's house. Going through Toronto on the way home the sky opened up. Thunder, lightning and heavy rain. Sometimes couldn't see the end of the hood.

Neighbour said the cops were all over the neighbourhood Sat night. Sounded like someone tried to rob somebody and putting a gun to their head.
They got the guy and turns out it was a BB gun. Should have just shot the SOB no more worries.

Glad you had a great time with your kids Mark they are looking good.
Thanks Fred. Chris had shot a turkey a few weeks back. He saved the breast meat. He soaked in a brine overnight then added some spices to it. Wrapped it in bacon and smoked in on the Traeger for an hour and cooked it for an hour. Sure was good.
The weather was good all weekend and the pool was 78 degrees. Like I said before the weather coming through Toronto was crazy but not a drop here 40 miles East of Toronto.
Couldn't believe the assholes on the highway on the way there. 4 cars chasing each other zipping back and fourth across 4 lanes no signals nothing. All ricers of course. One guy was on the very outside lane in the Express Lane. At the last moment he shot straight across all 4 lanes to catch the collectors and came within inches of the barrier. Of course then we have the rubber neckers who have to slow down to look at a guy changing a tire and backing up all kinds of traffic for miles. That's when I'd like a big push bar lol

That turkey sounds yummy would like to try it cooked that way.
I don't know how you deal with traffic Mark, I can't anymore I'm afraid I would get a push bar or a tank. lol

I hate it when people are back and forth trying to get ahead. I laugh to myself after all that maneuvering you pass them. Most of the time I go across country anymore. Sure it takes an extra 30 minutes but it's a relaxing drive and lots to see. Of course sometimes you have no choice but to take the major highways but always try to time it right. I just absolutely refuse to take a toll road, not cheap (well really expensive to take the toll roads through Toronto) but it's the principal of it.
And of course we have only two season here, Winter and Construction

Toll roads are a rip off and I feel trapped when taking them.
Lots of construction in Minnesota I had to go through with the Scamp what a pain.

Looks like your Son has himself a nice home. It's refreshing to see a normal family enjoying their own company. I'm glad you had fun.
