Screw the gifts, whats for Christmas Breakfast??

-
Got up at 6:30, 32F, nottin' special. Two boiled eggs, butter, salt pepper in a warm bowl, 1 piece light toast and "no sugar" strawberry jam. Big bowl of blueberries and a nice big mug of tea. I am out of bananas

The wife made a fantastic - what she calls "Breakfast Pizza" hashbrowns, eggs, bacon, and cheese (she knows I love my cheese!). It was delicious!!

Apple Pie is good anytime.
Wife made one yesterday. She picks the apples fresh off one of her friends trees, then cans apple pie filling.
So its like having fresh apples all year.

Ham, egg and cheese biscuits with local honey, coffee and hot chocolate.

My youngest got her own waffle iron for Christmas, so I think that says it all

That time of year again, hey 10 year anniversary for this thread lol. One of my favorite parts of Christmas is Lori's breakfast. Bacon, sausages, eggs benny and hashbrowns! Downright yummy. And a glass of champagne/oj and cranberry.
Perfectly made after working nightshift. Sleep will be easy lol.
Merry Christmas all.

Merry Christmas to you and your family !

Today was bacon and eggs over medium, homemade hash-browns, and coffee. Dessert was a Bloody Mary. Tomorrow will be sourdough pancakes with real maple syrup, a couple of eggs, homemade sage sausage, and more coffee with a finger or so of good bourbon in it. I suspect the Bloody Mary will make a reappearance as well. I don't eat like this often, but it's nice to get the comfort food going to start your day during the holidays.
