SE bikes...

Not USA made anymore, but they fit better than my old hitops did. They grab modern pedals way better than foamy sketchers lol

Anybody remember coaster brakes?
So I found my old bike:
This rear of this bike would start hopping if you tried to do the cool-kid sideways skid. I tried it once on pavement and high sided onto the handlebars that attempted to go through my stomach. Left a nice round scar.

Those shoes were horrible! For doing anything and... Play basketball and get blisters...
I hate them too. Wife keeps buying them for me in some form or another and I always complain they are not real good on the feet. Swapping shoes? I went one farther. I ORDERED a pair of the 2 color lace up shoes and I wanted 1 brown and blue and the other blue and brown! I got them and mom thought they made a mistake . I had to tell her that's how I wanted them. They didn't go over as well as I thought they would. I never had the slip ons. Those were only for the long haired smoker crowd. :-Q

Hey! I resemble that remark or I used to when I had hair LOL...

There was an oddball "Moose Goose" back in the 80's.

IIRC it was a 20" with a stretched height frame.

There was another one on the local Craigslist and I can only copy and paste one added a time but it said it was a 24 inch but it very much looked like a 20 inch and it had those webbed mags on it. Didn't want much for it maybe under $150.

Looks 20" to me.

Those are some weird wheels.

I think that might be an "intermediate" era early 2000's-ish 'Goose.

Yeah it's about an hour's drive away and those pictures while there's many I find difficult...

I have long preferred 26-inch bikes, I had one and now have one from wall work. They feel like a 20-inch bike but even better, when I was a kid I felt it for myself. I have a 26-inch Haro, two 26-inch trippers for the kids and a 26-inch GT Performer for the wife. In my opinion, these are much better bikes than what SE sells, but that's just my opinion, which I can share.

My first 26" was a GT around 1998.

Only one under a grand I could find in full Cr-Mo.

Still have it.

My wife and I tried out some e-bikes at some local shi-shi bike shop to see what this whole e-bike thing is like???...
First off they insisted the seats must be jacked to the sky... I didn't like the "step through" (girls bike) design... The lady tried to shame me by telling to me to get over it LOL I didn't argue as this was a free test drive and I wasn't looking to buy the bike just to see what it felt like to ride one..
What I did gain from it was it was all the fun of riding a bicycle without the work which made it more fun...
Next month my wife and I are planning a trip to Mesa to try one of (actually two of) the soul fast e-bikes...

here is some of my collection. gotta clean them up after sitting all winter.

only have one se bike left and that only because my daughter won't let me sell it because it was the first bmx bike she really put some miles on.

24,26,29" haro group one bikes. 24" is my daughters. she really likes that bike with checkered pads and seat. she doesn't like the gumwall tires so i put blackwall on it for her..

26"gt performer. man is that a nice bike.. i let jamie ride this most of the time.. she loves the color. i threaten her not to scratch it..lol

26" fit trippers. very nice bikes. much nicer then the big rippers i had. really like these fit trippers.

a mid 90's robinson gt with skyway tuffs i built for jamie years ago.

From what I gather the guy that builds the soul fast ebikes had something to do with SE at some point... I seen an SE sticker on one of his bikes...
Nice collection!...

Well I think I'm convinced I need to try out one of those soul fast e-bikes...
