Your help would be greatly appreciated to ID this set of pedals if they are from Slant, 318 or HD style like 340 and BB darts
Will be used on either a modern gen3 and tkx 5 speed or on a stroker 390 or 408 pending which rotating assembly I decide to use. Have 4” kits for a 318/340 and one for a 360 and bought them really cheap about 5 years ago but haven’t used them for myself or any customer engines I rebuilt or freshened up and been sitting in the basement boxed waiting for a perfect project.
I swore I was keeping this car a Slant with the column cranker (never did like column shift no matter how cool the car) and daily driver but the small itch is turning into full
Blown whole body poison ivy lol.
cool part is it’s got a super six from 77 so it’s got quite the pep vs the original 198 which blew in 1976ish per original owner and that is even more reason to make the car what I want and my own custom stock appearing car. A base looking Duster with stock Duster emblems and Duster logo on tail panel and that’s it with a third peddle, NON prndl column and some serious cubes/power under the hood.
Hey friends. Been a member close to a month and reader for years. I gotta be honest this site is like a second home lol. Love it. So many cool folks, cool people I’ve messaged and we’ve spoken by text and or phone it’s just awesome and so much invaluable info.
Having been a mopar guy all my life but spent the last 25 years restoring Oldsmobiles specifically 66-71 442s/Cutlass I’ve neglected to learn much of my mopar stuff and all the Mopars I had were Simple updates or fixes and I haven’t actually ever done a 4 speed swap, modern engine
/gen3 swap or a rotisserie Restoration on one so trying to acclimate myself with the mopar world again and learn as much as possible before I take on a big project. Be I guess an engine builder and amateur body and paint guy, some skills are transitioning right over from GM to Mopar.
here is a question on a set of a body pedals I wanted to confirm if they are Slant 6, 318 or the heavy duty clutch application set like ok 340s and bb dart cars.
