figured I should introduce myself.. My name is Matt, I'm a 33 year old semi-employed carpenter, and a lifelong slant 6 / A-body fan. I don't own a Mope currently -I drive a '92 F150 -but I grew up with Darts & Valiants, owned a couple when I was younger, and hope to again someday soon.

Welcome Matt, I have owned a few /6 and they have been very good to me.
I have learned allot here and we have some of the best of the best tec's and folks out there to help us along.

Thanks for the welcome, guys..

Gonna have to wait for finances to catch up before I start really looking for a project (carpentry in wintertime New England is not a way to get rich, that's for sure). Real problem is, prices have gone way up since my last A-body purchase- a 70K 1970 Dart Custom sedan for $500 in 1994 -but my budget hasn't increased in kind. Back then, it was just an old car, now anything not actually rotted in half is apparently worth mid-four figures..

Anyway, when I'm ready to pull the trigger, I'm sure that you guys are more than qualified to help me- some really sweet rides here.

Welcome Matt., I have owned a bodies off and on since 1975. FABO is a great place to get info, find parts, and make friends. My current ride is a 70 Dart im putting a 92 360 magnum in. If u buy a Dart, I have lots of info and connections to help u do it on a budget.
 
Well, I'd like to replicate that '70 I had (lots of rose-tinted memories of that puke-green chariot :love7:)... but there were so many awesome A-bodies built that my only firm criteria will be: 1960-72, slant 6, non-ragtop. I've been known to have impure thoughts about first-gen Valiant and Lancer station wagons, for instance. :-D
