I think you missed the point. Adding anything to an oil changes it and never for the better. I’d say buy a better oil and see what happens. Junk oil with an additive is just junk oil that costs a bit more.

Oh, the failed hammer wasnt the worst of my day. My multi-process welder took a dump. $2300 dollars poorly spent. I shut down, pretty much gave up. Then i calmed down, had a coffee and then went and stole my son’s welder.

I saw one come up on ebay several years ago. It has a Chrysler 331 Hemi in it, so they did have Chrysler power for sure. Seen them with slant sixes too. So the transmission story wouldn't surprise me one bit, especially since those things are short and stubby.
