I sold one of those kits a while back, and the rotors had a dual pattern. Worked for both 5 on 4 and 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern. I am pretty sure they are some sort of Ford rotor, because some early Mustangs had basically the same brakes as 66-72 A bodies, but with 4.5 bolt pattern.

Also there has been many updates thru the years so some transfer plates may only do 1 or 2 years then the factory would change things up so a modification is necessary. Kim

Make sure your head unit can run an 8 ohm speaker, most automotive radios are designed to run 4 ohm speakers.

I now wonder if some of the stuff used only for engine break in is fine, because it seems like a grey area to me. You are are not running it long term, so maybe by chance it's fine for just break in old for that short period of time. Maybe there is an article or study out there about it, testing...

I'd also consider the three-nipple fuel filter as suggested in Mopar Action https://www.moparaction.com/2016/03/16/vaporware/ This allows fuel to cycle back to the tank, so the fuel remains constantly cycled with cool fuel from the tank. People forget that fuel filters can percolate fuel too.

With the air gap, I'd consider running a fresh air line from the core support to the area under the carb, if I was that worried about it, but any heat soak issues you have are going to occur at slow speed anyway, where a spacer is of limited value in your configuration anyway. If fuel boil-off...

The air gap intake, be it an Edelbrock or the Chinkanese version, will have the exhaust cross over in the center blocked. That will cut down on the heat under the carb and the open area underneath can only help. At most, I would use the 3/8 insulator type gasket as suggested by @TrailBeast ...
