U need to replace the cooler in the rad. They plug up pretty good. A radiator shop can do that easily. Or find another know good radiator. Or boss the rad which u have already done. General Motors has a flush in a spray can that they have approved for their cooler flushes. I believe u use 2 or...

An electric pump does fix v/lock. Modern cars use elec pumps.....& the same fuel.....& they don't get v/lock. Pump needs to be mounted near the tank.
