    RIP Jerry West

Jerry West was one of the first new players of the LA Lakers when the moved from Minneapolis. The Lakers name came from the Minnesota Lakers, "the land of ten thousand lakes " is Minnesota's motto. Way before Chamberlain, Goodrich etc.. and they played beside him. West came to LA when they...

Has anyone had any problems installing this TCI trans shield.

Which blanket did you get ? Also what headers do you have?

Has anyone had any problems installing this TCI trans shield.

Thanks-Boosted-: I just ordered a trans blanket and I’ll use the TCI flexplate shield. And I’ll return the the TCI trans shield. With me having to raise the engine a little over 1/2 inch I sure hope I have enough room to do so without having to cut my trans tunnel.

Brand new QA1 front suspension and still have steering wheel play?

Sweet car. Lots of threads about this. Just the normal Mopar steering wheel slop. The borgeson box helps eliminate the slop but it’s around 1k for the kit. I have a PST 16:1 box in my 65 dart manual steering, little hard at low speeds.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Remind me and I'll go check out something unusual I saw at a used car lot in town. Just off the main drag on a little side street I saw this looking back at me. The grill work that is  . The hood was tan.

    273 advise needed

If you only have 52,000 miles, your cam and lifters are probably OK. Your rings are probably stuck on the low cylinders. Change the oil to a good 10w-30 synthetic oil and a good filter. The AFB carb is not correct. Adjust the valves. Replace the freeze plugs with brass ones. Replace the...

'70 Dart 392 Project; what direction?

Well as luck would have it the ignition coil connector I ordered from ballengers is the same as one in the Holley kit. And it doesn’t fit. So plan B: ordered the Holley 558-311 ignition coil harness and a metripak 10 pin connector to mate to it (part 570-203). The Holley harness has 10 pins…...

7 May do that, custom grind would work

I think I installed the wrong cam

Positive. I've talked to Ken in depth about it. I'm still on the fence about it. I may get him to grind a small solid street roller on a stock slant 6 core. I haven't made my mind up. But he can do it.

I think I installed the wrong cam

Are you sure about that? I thought you had to start with a roller cam? The base circle is too small on a la. I maybe wrong tho

I think I installed the wrong cam

Yes. Call Ken Heard at Oregon cam grinders.

    Voltage regulator

You better go thru the wiring with fine tooth comb. That amount of elec tape on alternator is horrendous. Your voltage regulator is 70 and up. There should be 2 field wires on alt and a bigger wire for 3 total. That "Painless" gives me heebie jeebies...
