'69 Barracuda T56 swap, floor, cross member

About an hour drive each way, several hundred cars at show, made the trip fine. Brake pedal feels more mushy then it should like brakes need more thorough bleeding. But otherwise car ran good. A lot of 5'th and 6'th gear driving at speed low RPMs engine stays nice and cool. Over drive gears...

Time to start the build up

I really need to get this put together. The finished block has been sitting under my workbench for.... probably a year and a half now. Anyway, finally getting some time to work on it. It's a 340 block, 0.40 over. So that makes for a pretty big bore size of 4.080. This was originally planned as...

    Strange S60 Rear End Help

If you have a weldor with a modicum of experience, they won't warp it by putting the perches on. I have welded perches onto a handful of 8 3/4 housings which are relatively thin stamped steel with no issues. My S-60 was fine after my welding job on the perches. Remember, the S60 is not a 1...

    Headlight switch drama

I would suspect you are making a l mistake somehow. You are aware? That the tail /park circuit gets power from a separate source. B1 /B2 both must be receiving power. Check it under load. Install it loose, hanging down so you can access the terminals. Pull on park. Check that B1...

    Strange S60 Rear End Help

Vertex_Jeff; I was afraid that any good welder (I'm not) would warp the axle shafts by welding them on after the car is built. Wouldn't the housing warp? Wouldn't I have to have the housing checked and straightened after they are welded? I'll call Dr. Diff. Thank you,

    Strange S60 Rear End Help

I use the Super Stock (OEM) Leafs. Hope that helps to get me headed in the right direction. I can mount the raw 440 block and transmission in the car, then put my crank, heads, intake, etc... and other engine pieces on top of the block, and find my driveline angle using a straight-edge from...

    Anyone done a strong 400 build ?

It is a fair price if it was put together correctly with decent parts. Before buying it you should ask for a parts list and look over the receipts.

    CVF Alternator running hot

I just put a new CVF 1 wire alternator on my Duster and noticed after a few minutes of idling the alternator gets really hot, too hot to even touch, especially the pulley. I tried disconnecting the charger wire and letting it idle and it gets warm but nothing like when charge wire is connected...

    Strange S60 Rear End Help

When I ordered my S60, I told them not to weld them on and just ship them with the rear end. You really have no idea how to position it until the axle is under the car, and the car is on the ground with weight in it. I ordered mine through Dr. Diff, and he made it easy.
